Top Takeout Spots

So… it’s been awhile and a lot has changed since February. With Covid-19 restaurants have been forced to close their doors to the public (which makes me sad, but I know it is necessary). Thankfully, a lot of spots around town have ramped-up their takeout game, offering delivery, curbside pickup and seamless to-go options so that hungry Minnesotans can get their fix, all while following social distancing guidelines.

Each weekend, I look forward to what restaurant I can order from next! Here are some of my favorites so far:

– Broders’ Pasta Bar: Open Tuesday-Saturday from 4pm-8pm, they have curbside pickup which works out great! Be warned – everyone loves this place so if you’re trying to order during prime dinner time, be ready for a bit of a wait. Check out their amazing menu here!

– DeGidio’s: This Saint Paul gem is open Tuesday-Sunday from 4pm-8pm for curbside pickup and delivery. You can get family meal kits (take and bake), nightly specials (Date Night, Cannelloni Night and more), or choose something from their delicious menu. My favorite sauce they offer is the Bolognese, so I recommend the Linguine or Tortellini Bolognese. They also have a great burger! You can view their current menu and place an order here!

– The Bungalow Club: I know I always talk about this place… I just can’t help it! They are currently open Thursday-Saturday from 4pm-8pm, and Sunday from 10am-2pm & 4pm-8pm. Their menu changes daily and is always exciting. You can order some stuff to make at home, or order some dishes already made for you (I was feeling lazy so I chose that option)! – Italian Eatery: Right next to Lake Nokomis you’ll find the lovely, Italian Eatery. Currently, they are open for takeout Tuesday-Friday from 4pm-8pm and Saturday-Sunday from 12pm-8pm. They also have “Pasta Pouches” to-go that you can take and bake, along with other menu items made for you. Each dish has wonderful flavors, and they offer more than just pasta! I was trying to keep this list concise but I would be remiss if I didn’t at least briefly mention La Grolla and Amore Uptown! 🙂
